    How upright is too upright?

    Main Body

Being too upright will reduce the amount of pressure you can apply to the pedals, and increase air drag. That being said being upright increases you field of view, and is generally more comfortable provided you have a saddle to match.

    Very Upright Ride Position

You will find in most places were bicycles form a mass transit option (netherlands or china) the upright position is favoured, whilst in London or New York, cyclist are generally dressed for battle, with a ride position closer to that of a competitive cyclist.
