As a cyclist you are more often than not required to “share” the road with cars, buses and trucks. Anyone who has ridden through heavy traffic will know that this can be a daunting experience. Of course for the warriors amongst us, this could form part of the attraction, the thrill of ride; weaving in and out amongst stationary traffic. . . . but for others and particularly kids this aspect of practical cycling is not a good thing.
